Ben Martin (the author) is the first legal owner of copyright for all commissioned works. The buyer is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use only. The commissioned work may not be edited, retitled, or otherwise altered without prior written permission from the author. Additional rights may be granted at the author's discretion.

Characters, themes, settings and other similar copyrighted intellectual property may only be used with the permission of the respective copyright holders, and remain the property of the respective copyright holders at all times. Responsibility for obtaining permission lies with the buyer. The author accepts no responsibility for breaches of copyright that may occur when following the buyer's instructions.

The author reserves the right to refuse or cancel any commission at any time for any reason, with a refund provided as per the refund policy. All parties are responsible for following the laws of their own jurisdictions.

All payments are due in advance. If no payment is received, the completed commission will not be delivered to the buyer. Buyers are entitled to cancel their commission and obtain a refund at any time prior to the commencement of work on their commission. Refunds for completed or partially completed commissions will be at the discretion of the author.
